Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems Teams Up with This Old House

INDIANAPOLIS, October 18, 2018— Bryant® Heating & Cooling Systems, a leading supplier of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, has installed two Bryant Evolution® systems in This Old House’s 2018 Idea House being built by Sweenor Builders. The project reflects Bryant’s interest in helping to educate homeowners on renovation projects in their homes - like the benefits of investing in an efficient heating and cooling solution. Bryant is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Working with an HVAC manufacturer with a track record of excellence was paramount to the crew at This Old House, a popular home improvement program online and on PBS. For almost 40 years, This Old House has held its crew to the highest standard as they provide advice, product recommendations and step-by-step instruction to millions of American homeowners each week. For more than 100 years, Bryant has held itself to a similar standard, consistently providing customers with quality, durable and reliable HVAC products installed by trained Bryant dealers across North America.

“We’re pleased to have worked with This Old House on the 2018 Idea House,” said Margo Richter, marketing manager, Bryant. “This was a tremendous opportunity to align our brands and to help homeowners take the guesswork out of selecting an HVAC system. For years, advice from This Old House has been trusted by millions of homeowners and we’re proud to offer our expertise about home comfort and helping to advise homeowners about the important task of selecting a heating and cooling system.”

“We are thrilled with the performance of the Bryant Evolution system at the This Old House 2018 Idea House,” said Jeff Sweenor, Sweenor Builders. “It’s super quiet, compact, and energy-efficient. And I love the system’s remote control that easily allows homeowners to modulate the temperature, humidity and airflow—whether they are home or away.”

The 2018 Idea House, located in Narragansett, Rhode Island and less than a mile from the beach, epitomizes the American dream home with less square footage and more luxurious amenities, upscale entertaining spaces and customized designs. The Bryant Evolution system was a natural choice for the Idea House because, similarly, it is loaded with the most sought-after, advanced features available.

The Evolution System delivers high-efficiency performance and total home comfort in extreme hot or cold conditions and provides homeowners with the utmost control in temperature, humidity, indoor air quality, fan speed and ventilation. The system boasts up to a 20.5 seasonal energy efficiency ratio and a 16.5 energy efficiency ratio saving money, has a fully variable-speed compressor allowing for adjustments to maintain a consistent mix of temperature, humidity and airflow to ensure greater comfort and features built-in Wi-Fi enabled remote access allowing homeowners to customize home to their desired comfort level.

AGS HVAC Services, a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer in Massachusetts and participating member in Bryant’s Women in HVAC group, completed the installation of the units and ductwork in the Idea House. Selecting a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer ensures homeowners that the dealer has met the highest standard for superior skills and service and promises a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Bryant is proud to work with reputable home-improvement authorities like This Old House and AGS HVAC Services. For more information about a Bryant Evolution system or involvement with This Old House, visit www.bryant.com/bryant/en/us/this-old-house/.
