Nice effort but...
I got a mini split put in a closet I was told would fit without making changes to the closet door or replacing it. In the end, we secured the door so it no longer folded and added a magnet to keep it closed. The real issue is that the thermostat doesn't keep accurate temperature. It's anywhere from 2\-5 degrees off from what it is set at. A replacement was promised but the wrong unit was given to the tech. I'm hoping for a new replacement and if it doesn't work, I'll have to go back to my old thermostat that doesn't automatically go from air to heat as needed. They have sent many folks out here to get this all straight, and it has taken up a lot of my time. The staff is nice and they want to help but you can only do so much when the thermostat doesn't work right. I'm hoping they will resolve this asap but since me review time is up in a day or two, I wanted to let you know the truth. The mini split is efficient but when first installed with a remote it would never turn off as is wasn't set up right so I gave the remote back and asked for a thermostat. And that is how we now sit.

Outstanding service
Our carbon monoxide detector went off. We were concerned that the furnace was the cause. We contacted Bob Cermignano AC\-Htg, Inc., our HVAC company we have contracted with for more than 30 years. This was the evening before we were leaving on a trip. We arranged through our daughter for a technician from his company to come check out our system. The technician found markedly elevated CO levels in the exhaust from the furnace and leakage into the furnace room and the rest of the house. Bob Cermignano came to the house, and determined that the 16 year old furnace unit were malfunctioning and in need of replacement. We spoke to him from where we were, and he presented us with options and their likely costs. There was significant uncertainty about when parts of the furnace needed for a piecemeal repair would be available\-\-weeks to months. A complete replacement furnace unit was readily available. We chose to replace the furnace entirely, which was scheduled several days after we returned home. We feel that this minimized the time the furnace would be off (in winter). We feel that the service, guidance, and support we received was excellent.

Bad experience. Seemed like no one knew for sure what they were doing.
It took close to a year to finally get our mini split working. Dealer kept coming back to try and figure it out then the Bryant rep came out twice and gave me a lame excuse that these were made overseas and that people in other countries ran their heaters differently than they do in the US which is why my unit would not work as described. Everyone was very nice and kept trying to fix things but once it was working I barely got an appology from anyone for the inconvenience. I just hope I don't have anymore trouble with it because I'm not sure anyone knows how to fix it.

Work seems sloppy. I just found a broken piece on one of the wrought iron stair railings. Lights were always left on, doors left open, repairs not done well. The return vent was not screwed down and appears to be warped (bad part??) Workers pawed through some of my mother's things that I had packed away. I'd never suggest that anyone use this company. I really don't trust that they did a good job with the A/C and wish I'd used someone else.
