We went with Design Air because we had a previous job with them that went really well and liked working with them. This time we have hired them to do two jobs and both times they were great at communicating, fast at scheduling, their installers were professional and their pricing seemed fair.

I contacted three companies for a bid. Design Air was my second call. Out of the three, Design Air was the first to call back. They were the first to come to our home to talk and listen to us. They were the first to give us a written bid. Although mini\-splits are expensive and Design Air's bid was a tad bit higher than one other company, we are not complaining. This company's attentiveness to our needs was worth it. We saw an example of the Bryant mini at another business. We asked the employees of that company how they like the unit. Praises and thumb's up we're expressed.

We had a great experience with this vendor and are very satisfied with the install of our new heat pump. Round\-trip to the install site was 330 miles.

Very impressed with Steve, the sales rep and his knowledge. He spent a lot of time answering our questions. We were also impressed with the office staff. Very helpful with any questions. I asked if they could relay to the installers that we would like them to wear masks when they were in the house because of COVID. There was no hesitation about my request. The team showed up with masks and disposable booties when going through the house and a cloth cover for the floor to the area where they installed. The a/c unit arrived damaged, but they didn't know it until they opened the box at our house. They were very careful to check to make sure it was only cosmetic damage. They even had Steve come over to check to make sure everything was in working condition, Gave us a discount as well. Very reliable service.

It took several months to get an appointment. I made my deposit in May and the install took place end of July. Very busy small company. Some minor issues came up regarding cleanup of construction debris. We had to substitute some attachment hardware that was defective and failed. The installers worked very hard at the job site and they were pleasant to work with. A bit of confusion about the equipment. I ordered Bryant and ended up with Carrier equipment. Same level of equipment but it has a different label?????

Very pleased with the level of service from the estimate appointment through to installation. I was particularly impressed with Griffin. He completed the inside installation of the AC. Extremely polite, explained the process and took care to cover our flooring prior to installation. Makes a difference! Highly recommend.

I am really happy with my new air conditioning unit, as well as the expertise and great customer service before and during the installation. The unit is perfect for my house and even the condenser is quite smart looking (not big and ugly). Totally satisfied.

The Direct Air installer worked very hard to install our Heat Pump in one day. He made sure it was easy and convenient for us to get to our filters. I am surprised at how noisy the furnace is when running. I think the taping of the wires and the covering of the hole into the house could look neater.

Design Air did a very nice job. I asked for some additional work to be done while they were installing my new AC, and Mike coordinated all of that. Folks showed up as scheduled, were very polite, and did a nice job. Would definitely recommend.

Let's start at the beginning, I called two well advertised HVAC companies and received quotes. They were astronomical for what I was thinking would be necessary. I have a small home and knew I just needed a mini split heat pump. I have a very open floor plan and only 825 square feet. The two quotes were amazingly expensive. I asked about labor charges and neither company would tell me how much was equipment and how much was labor. I called Design Air Inc on a coworkers recommendation after he heard my story. I called Mike, he gave me a reasonable estimate and timeline. Seamless installation. Quality service. I am impressed and grateful. Thank you Design Air, INC!

Owner and staff very nice. Would've loved a more extensive explanation regarding warranty and coverage when originally inquired. To later find out hidden fees for service and stipulations regarding the warranty was not a great feeling and leaves a sour taste. Feeling a little cheated and will not end up being as price competitive as originally thought because of it. I hope the criticism is well received and an adjustment is made for future customers. Stay cool!
