Troy and Michelle came out to give us a bid and were on time and very friendly. We had been having problems cooling/heating our upstairs. Troy climbed up into the attic and looked at the unit as well as the lines the heat/air run through to the vents. The first thing Troy said was the lines needed dampers so he could adjust the heat or air for each room and the hallway. Funny, neither of the other bidders mentioned this idea with one wanting to rerun the lines as he claimed they were poorly installed the first time and the other contract wanted to install a larger unit. Troy even mentioned that the current unit size was more than enough for the square footage. He then went downstairs and looked at the furnace downstairs and both a/c units outside He was open/honest about the different systems and the potential benefits to the better grade equipment. He was never pushy and basically left it up to me based on his bid. Troy left on Wednesday and said I would have a bid by the next afternoon and sure enough it was right on time. The bid was very fair. They said it would take two full days to install two ac units, two furnaces and two new wifi thermostats and it sure did. During all of this, they were totally professional and very prompt in answering different questions via email and phone. While it has only been installed for about a week, there is a HUGE difference in the back bedrooms that were always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I have the heat set 2 degrees lower than the old system and the bedrooms are so much warmer. We couldn't be more thrilled with the end result. I would highly recommend Advantage Air and am very glad I used them for the install.
