Great experience despite no thermostat yet
Bought new furnace and A/C, and my existing thermostat (Evolution) was "supposed to work with it. After having issues trying to get it to work, they figured out that I had a 2016 thermostat which is not compatible and only 2022 or newer ones are. Still waiting for them to find an Evolution thermostat that they can install. Using a temporary one for now.

No heat scenario quickly resolved
Unfortunately, was without heat due to equipment failure. Replaced 17 year old York furnace and a/c system, as successful furnace repair was questionable at best (initial service call did not involve All Temp \- home warranty scenario on recently purchased residence). Contacted All Temp from a received mailer (I am also knowledgeable of their company's reputation, and familiar with Bryant equipment). I negotiated a full system replacement via phone and email (kudos, John Lillis), and installation was scheduled/completed within a couple of days. Installers were very professional, company personnel interaction via phone was stellar (ie. finance department \- I paid by credit card over the phone). All Temp pricing was very competitive (keep in mind \- no heat scenario in cold weather with little time to make a decision). Hope my very positive All Temp experience helps, if you are in the middle of the decision making process.

Just OK Installation
Installation was pretty simple and done quickly. Install team did not protect wood floor and scratched and dented it in numerous locations during removal of old unit and install of new unit. Awaiting to hear what, if anything, they will do about this. Additionally they could not install humidifier despite saying it was not going to be a problem during quote visit. They did not measure like other contractor I received a quote from did (other contractor said the humidifier wouldn't fit). I followed up before the install that I had concerns about it fitting and again was told it should fit. I then had to remind the installers about the price reduction for not installing the humidifier as they tried to charge me for it. They did not do a great job of cleaning up, there were dirt and small debris over the working area. The installation itself seems to be fine.

Difficult installation Made to Look Simple
We had to fit the furnace into a very small closet (20 inches wide) with drain line, power supply and switches, gas supply, exhaust and A/C coolant supply lines all jammed into a very tight space. It also required some clever solutions to an ongoing air intake vent that was limiting the effectiveness of the HVAC system for years. The sales person came up with a clever and effective solution to the air supply and the technicians implemented the solution without a single hitch. Rehabbing a 111yo home. The mechanicals were not quite that old, but having 23 years of service under their belt, they were arguably ancient. Mixed experience
My delivery was scheduled for between 8\-10 on the 20th of Feb. I called that morning to confirm that the appointment was happening between 8\-10 and then I waited, and nobody showed up. I called All Temp Chicago and was told that there was a mix up and that my heater would not be installed until the 21st. I was confused as to why I had to call to find out this information after someone in their office already confirmed that morning that the delivery and installation were in fact scheduled and going to happen on the 20th. I then called Jack Freedman, who was the gentleman that had originally quoted me the job and confirmed the installation date with me on the 19th and he told me there was a mix up, and I told him that I had no heat and that if I would have known that they could not install it that day that I would have gone with another dealer since another dealer actually quoted me a better price, so Jack asked to call me back and within 15 minutes Jack called me back and was able to get someone out to my place by 1:00 that afternoon. So in the end I did receive the installation on the day that was originally quoted it was just stressful for me since there was no customer service call regarding the rescheduling of the installation. The gentleman (Eli) that showed up to do the installation was great. He talked me thru everything that he was doing and he was very prompt and efficient.
