I'm more concerned with things being done right than done fast. And I hate to be the one to find issues and have to ask for them to be corrected. At the end of the install day, the lead installer from Welzig walked through the system end\-to\-end and noticed some details that might not pass inspection. Initially, Weston came to our house to check our 18 year old air conditioner, which we suspected was not functioning properly. He diagnosed the old unit and determined that it was at the end of it's life. He offered to get it running again in an effort to finish out the cooling season but reminded us that it would only be a band aid fix. We decided to install a new unit. Saul and Eric installed the new air conditioner for us. They were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When I had questions they took the time to answer my questions. The installation went off without a hitch and they cleaned up the work area completely. I would not hesitate to have these two gentlemen work on my HVAC system again. 5 degrees and snowing
My installation day turned out to be about 5 degrees outside and snowing, but the Welzig crew showed up on time despite the driving conditions and with nary a grumble or frown they got the work done inside and out. My home is older and they ran into unexpected issues needing re\-piping of vents and air con. These problems were resolved. Each and every member was friendly and professional and they all worked very hard. When the work was done, David explained how the new furnace worked and what type filter I should use. I have only been using the furnace for a few days but it seems quiet and working properly and efficiently. I also appreciated the Welzig company accommodating my schedule. The only comment I have as far as improvement is the fact that new furnaces put out nitric acid waste that must go to a drain. As this can corrode drain covers and pipes and is not good for my septic tank I think the condensate filters that are available should be part of installation unless the owner does not want them. They will be coming back to put one in for me at a minimal extra charge. Overall, a job well done!

So far the equipment has been good. The furthest bedroom from the unit is not getting as warm as the rest of the house. The furnace may not have the power needed to get the air that far. Some minor concerns from the installation \- didn't light water heater pilot before leaving, scratched my wood door, left crawl space access lid open, and cut big holes in wall for thermostat wires. They did fix the wall though.
