Final result was good
We had a three relatively minor issues on the installation. First, the proposed installation would have been unsightly but no options were offered. We had to go back and insist on another option. Second, the system was not "tight" after it was installed and conditioned air was leaking into the garage. There was a relatively simple fix and it was corrected when we complained but the original installers were just lazy and did not finish off the way they should have. Finally, we had to initiate follow\-up to get the second thermostat sensor that was supposed to be delivered with the original installation. In the end we are very happy with the installation and product but it should not have taken as much follow\-up on our part as it did. In Apex's defense the installation occurred immediately prior to a historic heat\-wave and I'm sure they were completely swamped.

Outstanding professionals who go the extra mile
After a long ordeal with a home warranty company and working with several different HVAC companies of questionable competency, we hired Apex Air to replace our heat pump. The process was smooth and professional. Our service tech, Ricardo, is a master of his craft, and patiently explains the work he's doing at a level I can understand. We trust his recommendations and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and Apex to others. Hal and his office staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating with scheduling and getting the right product installed \- our previous heat pump was sized too large and short\-cycling \- shortening the lifespan of the unit. I also plan to have them perform the annual service on the unit going forward.
