The kind of HVAC contractor you really want
We got estimates from four different contractors, and Jim from Dave's Services was in a league all his own. He took the time to do all the measurements to size the right unit, asked a lot of questions and answered all of ours. He spent over 3 hours at the house, just to give us an estimate! Other contractors were there for 30 minutes to an hour. The estimate gave us choices and Jim was available to answer more questions and to help me with the decision. The installation went very smoothly and was done exactly as Jim promised. J.J., the installer, is a perfectionist, and he did not take any shortcuts just to get the job done. He even took a picture of a pretty significant flaw in the prior installation that I never know about. And after the installation, Jim came back and went over the entire system to make sure we understood how to get the most out of it.
