Great In-Home Work but Extremely Difficult to Get Paid Receipt, Lien Waiver & Warranty Documents
My mother has dementia and I am helping her which includes home maintenance issues. Chesterfield service has been great to work with on regular maintenance and addressing the replacement of her 20 year old air conditioning system. All team members with whom I have interacted at her home have been professional, on time, and willing to answer questions. However, the issues began after the a.c. was installed. I paid by check and asked for a paid receipt. I was told by the installer that he was unable to send the appropriate email but the office would take care of it the next day. That never happened. Over the next two weeks, I made two more requests by email to my Chesterfield service contact asking for a paid receipt as well as a lien waiver and warranty information. Each time I was told it would be taken care of \- it was not. I finally sent a letter to one of the owners, Travis Seeger, describing the lack of follow up and my still needing the documents for my system. A month after the system installation the documents arrived. Sadly, the information on the warranty is incorrect and I need to follow up on that now. And even sadder to me, no one ever reached out to me to apologize for what seemed to be a very large breakdown in true customer service and follow\-up.

New HVAC install
Original install was botched. The copper pipe connecting the compressor to the inner coils at the furnace were bent by the installer causing a tremendous rattling sound. The Compressor then began to make a loud noise and had to be replaced. In all it took 5 return calls to get things to what is now the end product. This all took place in a time period of just a few weeks. Buyers remorse, yes but that's water gone under the bridge and money I wish I had spent differently.
