Not what I was expecting.
I learned not to arrange for the last installation on a Friday afternoon. The very young installers that showed up just wanted to get the job done and get their weekend started. After I had an opportunity to look over their work, I was not very impressed. They seem to lack much sense as to the resulting appearance of their work. In fact they damaged some of my existing ductwork. The company did send out a more experienced installer who for the most part agreed with my complaints. Efforts were made to correct and improve the installation. I was eventually somewhat satisfied though still not 100%. I know this company has a stelar reputation. I guess I just got the B squad on my installation day. My advice, insist that they send out an experienced supervisor with the installation team.

My furnace was blowing cold air, no heat. My original furnace had a10 yr. rating \& it was 19 yrs. old. The furnace tech showed me how to get heat with the original furnace until the new one was installed. In 3 days the new furnace was installed in 1 day. A few days later the new furnace wasn't keeping the house at the set thermostat temperature. A service man came and a couple adjustments were made and everything was working perfectly. These guys are amazing !
No heat ! Called them mid afternoon December 15 . Service guy got here around 5pm that evening. Very knowledgeable ! Turned out to be a cracked heat exchanger. Needed a new replacement. Sales guy came 8:30am next morning. decided on a replacement furnace. Furnace installed by 1pm that afternoon. Installers were amazing !

Sales and Installation
Salesman gave us all of our options for a heating and cooling system and was very helpful in the pluses and minuses of all options. There was no pressure to buy more than what we needed or could reasonable afford. hey called that afternoon to confirm that the installers would be out first thing the next morning. Installers were great explaining what they were doing and about how long it would take. They also worked with me on the routing of the intake and exhaust pipes required for the high efficiency furnace. Work was completed and jobsite was left vey clean. Installers went over operation of system and new thermostat.

We have used First Call Heating and Cooling for 6 different projects now. Our installs were always complicated according to other vendors, but First Call always came in with a plan and a positive attitude. Equally as important, they came in at some of the lowest prices. Their installers are first class people, easy to talk to, confident in their abilities, and super accurate and detailed. I would recommend First Call Heating and Cooling to everyone I know. I placed a call to them after hours, the technician returned my call within 5 minutes. We discussed the issues with my furnace. It was a furnace that was over 30 years old. He saved me the after hours fee with a phone call. The next morning they were at my home to give us an estimate for a new furnace. We were able to make an informed decision. They then came back to our home in the afternoon to install it. To get such quick service in the winter which I am sure is a busy time for them was a welcome surprise. The sales representative then came back to our home while others were installing it for signatures on the documents. We never had to leave our home. They made this process seamless which really helped turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a pleasing one.
