A great experience from the salesperson to installation. Only one of three bids in which I was not"jacked up" beyond my needs. Incredible availability. Answered all questions, and in doing such, explained the industry jargon that tends to make this purchase decision muddled in verbiage.

Existing old gas furnace had complicated computer interface with thermostat. Installers were able to get everything working properly with new furnace.

In four visits, Bel\-Red HVAC failed to accurately diagnose the cause of extremely high CO in the exhaust. They claimed it was a cracked heat exchanger, which they were unable to inspect. They also did not know the rebate on my heat exchanger had been extended past its original expiration date. Brennan HVAC was able to inspect half of the heat exchangers, finding no evidence of a crack but concluding a crack existed in the exchanger they could not see. Jerry at Black Lion knew about the bad material in the heat exchanger and was able to show me the gunk that exudes from that material and clogs the exchanger, and he knew the rebate had been extended. So I had Black Lion do the replacement. When it immediately reported code 33 errors, a different tech came out and explained it away saying the furnace is oversized for my home and I cannot close any vents without causing this error (and damaging the A/C). Dissatisfied with that assessment I got Jerry out again and he found the initial adjustments were badly out of spec, and corrected it. The other tech had evidently recently been hired and was experienced in Trane rather than Bryant. I have every confidence in Jerry, and in Black Lion's committment to my satisfaction. The owner called me to make sure I got what I needed.

Kevin showed up at my door very unassuming. He did not try to sell me the most expensive product, and instead helped me pick something that was right for what we had in our house. I was very impressed with his demeanor! After shopping around and doing A LOT of research, Black Lion came in at the lowest price, and they had a lot more to offer outside of just price. Their service, attitude, integrity, and hard working employees blew me away. These guys showed up to my house with three trucks ready to go. One thing I noticed is that while each person had a role in what they did, they ALL enjoyed their jobs. How many HVAC companies can you say that about? 5\-stars all around!

Parker and Adam came out first thing in the morning as promised. They were very pleasant and explained what they were going to do. They were native English speakers so we had no incidence of miscommunication. They listened to my preference in regard to the positioning of the filter and adjusted the configuration to make that possible. They did a great job! We don't know how well the furnace works because the weather is too hot to turn it on! The sales person gave a quote that was way overprice compared to bids came in from other companies. When I brought this to the attention of the company they were able to adjust their quote and give a fair price for the furnace, thermostat and installation. They also offered a service contract that included an extended labor warranty with regular service every year.
