Family Danz Heating & CoolingHVAC Services in Albany

It was a pleasure dealing with family dances. The men who came were very polite and they were very neat.

The folks at Family Danz were excellent! They knew what they were doing. Their installer team was fantastic and did a great job on the install. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I was given 2 different invoices with the same invoice # but 2 (two) different amounts. One invoice showed a transaction finance charge of $1552.61 that should have been charged to the merchant. But that charge was passed on to me the consumer. When I contacted the salesman (Ed), He stated I should've caught it earlier. They refused to give me a credit.

went fast and well. all working great

From the beginning of the transaction the salesman, Hilton, made the experience a pleasant one. He answered any and all questions, made suggestions to make the purchase and installation smooth and cared that the system was appropriate to our needs. The installers, primary Steffan, and helper, Eli, were polite, efficient and responsive to any questions or concerns that we had.

The entire process was made simple for us, from estimator initial visit, to scheduling, to install. We could not be happier with both Family Danz and our new Bryant units. Installation crew was professional, respectful and knowledgeable.

Outstanding customer service from all members of the FD team. Thank you!!

Every part of the process was explained to us and handled very courteously and professionally.

Service Techs were very super friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. The owner (Ted Danz) of Family Danz came to check on the job's progress. We were impressed that Ted showed up and spoke with us. Great service and attention!

The installers were very friendly and respectful of my home.

We needed a new furnace in a hurry. They gave us a great price and were ready to install the very next day. During the install process, they were helpful and got us up and running, despite some unexpected challenges.

We have used Family Danz for our HVAC system for over 25 years and trust their professionalism and expertise. We use their yearly maintenance service and this has given us confidence in the systems they have provided.

Both technicians were courteous and skilled at installing our new furnace. As well as fixing an existing AC wiring issue. Highly recommended

I wish I could give 10stars! Every employee of family danz is a pleasure to work with. From initial phone contact to installers.

Efficient and clean

I gave my two technicians 5 stars because it was a 5\-star furnace installation. Thank you Family Danz!

The installers were fast, friendly, and clean.

The service and solution was done quickly with extreme care. The installation area was left neat and clean and the installers explained fully everything that they had done and were extremely helpful.

Not much to say ,just great service.

A painless experience from the first phone call.

Installed as promised

First class work. Crew was great \- kept us informed of their progress. Recommending them without reservations.

From the salesman to the installers, everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them.

From installation to service FamilyDanz was highly responsive and always courteous and professional.

A professional and customer centric experience from the beginning all the way through to the end! A refreshing experience in a world that seems to have forgotten how the personal touch in business truly sets a company ahead and apart! We recommend Family Danz with our whole hearts!

I've had a service contract with Family Danz for many years and my current furnace, air conditioner, and hot water heater were all installed by them. This year the air conditioner stopped working and they didn't try to push my decision as they explained the costs and benefits of trying to repair the old unit vs replacement. The installation of the new unit was exactly as described, from cost to time required. The crew arrived on time and thoroughly completed the installation and clean\-up.

From the original call from a technician to our interaction with the sales person to the install specialists. Also the follow up calls from the office to make sure we were satisfied. They were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly and hard working to get the project completed. We have used them in the past and will continue to use Family Danz in the future. They definitely care about their customers.

Very smooth replacement of mini\-splits that Family Danz had installed 15 years ago. The technicians were knowledgable, friendly, and let us know about their progress. The owner of the company also stopped by to say thank you. Very nice experience.

Family Danz was first class from start to finish.

Very knowledgable

We were very pleased with Family Danz from the estimate through the installation. They were prompt, professional, and very easy to work with.

On time, courteous and a pleasure to be

Extremely professional at every step in the process. If your looking for an install, family Danz should be your 1st call. Lowest cost/highest level of service

All staff is very personable. Work is done in a timely and efficient manner with excellent cleanup. Customer service is excellent.

fast and efficient great crew

Did great Job.

All the staff we interacted with in the process of purchasing and installing new furnace and a/c equipment were very professional, courteous and polite in answering our many questions. This included office staff for payment questions, the estimator and the staff that came on site to install. Special thanks to the install team Mel Crane, Adam Stewart and Pat Owens. Also thanks to Ryan Valenti who assisted with the purchase.

My husband and I have been customers of Family Danz for almost 20 years. We purchased a boiler and hybrid hot water system from them, and they have provided yearly maintenance service to that equipment as well as our whole house A/C unit. When the time came to purchase a heat\-pump, they were the first choice. We worked with John to determine what would best fit our needs. A prompt installation date was then scheduled. Dominick, Mel, and Tim came as indicated, were professional and friendly. They were thorough in explaining what work was to be done, the time it would take, as well as reviewing how to operate the new system. They cleaned up the work area both inside and outside. You would not have known that they had ever been here. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Danz, Sr., who founded the company, as he stopped by to see how the job was going. We have worked with knowledgeable and helpful staff over the years. We highly recommend Family Danz.

Very disappointed in the installation of a new unit. First day install the wrong unit was installed. Second day install to correct problem outside wall not sealed at all, installer placed metal tools on top of outside condenser. Homeowner placed work towel on service to prevent a scratch.

Loving the heat part of it so far. We'll see about the A/C come warmer weather.

We decided it was time to replace our furnace and A/C which both were 20+ years Old. Family Danz has been servicing our equipment for the past 18 years. All 4 people that we dealt with in this new install were the best. On\-time (in fact they were early) professional, answered any questions we had, explained the equipment to us. Cleaned up .

Was extremely pleased with the installation of a new furnace by Family Danz. My furnace quit just after Christmas and they came out multiple times to keep it running until they could install the new one. Their technicians are professional and very experienced.

very professional crew, explained the install process and remedy for an unforeseen issue that popped up during the install, looking forward to working with this company going forward

Workers were very professional and there workmanship was excellent

Installers arrived as scheduled. Completed the installation in a professional and courteous manner. Installers were great representatives of Family Danz

Much appreciated

Very professional

Our installation went well, with a few issues, but nothing major. We are pleased with our new a/c units.

Extremely satisfied with all who helped in any way installing the ductless a/c units.

Prompt, expert and friendly service every time.

Family Danz installed a replacement a/c unit at my residence. Technician was prompt, respectful of property and willing to answer any questions I had. He was thorough in his explanations and very courteous.

Terry(sales) provided us with the knowledge we needed to decide on the perfect system for our home. He was easy to reach and very responsive to every question we came up with. At no time did he pressure or rush us to make a decision. Once we decided, he was quick to get us scheduled for our installation of a mini\-split system. Avery and Sean(Installers) met Terry at our home the 1st morning and took the time to map everything out so it would blend in and be astetically pleasing. After that Avery and Sean got to work, and were professional and informative with every step. We had no problem working from home as they showed so much respect, even while in the same room. They would be welcome at our home anytime. Teddy, our toy fox terrier, can be a bit protective when strangers enter our home. Within a couple hours, he welcomed them like family. The entire experience was truly so much better than we ever expected. I would recommend Family Danz without any hesitation based on our experience.

A customer of family Danz since 2004 the saleman John had a new AC unit at my house within a week.

Removed and replaced my water heater and furnace, and hooked up a central air unit in under 6 hours. Hard working and very efficient, I'd hire them again.

our salesman Cliff was great, not pushy but very informative and detailed. Our installers were Collin and Mike. Couldn't ask for better guys to do a job! Very professional and kept us informed every step of the way. Great job by all!!!

Very professional very neat great install

The installers were professional, on time and clean. I would definitely recommend Family Danz.

None

Installers were knowledgable, friendly, helpful (helped get an existing dehumidifier unit in order in addition to the new new installations), clean, and as far as I can tell did excellent work. Looking forward to enjoying many years with ductless heat pumps.

The service people were very professional, answered all of my questions and very efficient installing the new furnace/air conditioner. I was very pleased with how well the installation went.

Service installers arrived on time and introduced themselves. Installation was without problems. They took care to instruct me regarding the operation of the new system once finished installing. I was also instructed how to use the new thermostat. A very professional and courteous group of men.

Melvin and crew did a great job installing my new furnace!!

From the initial meeting to the end of the install. They were great to work with!!

I was having a hard time searching for a HVAC installer for a flip project, then I found Family Danz. Prompt to quote, worked around my install schedule and did a great job.

good professional job

came on time\-\-worked diligently to complete install as quickly as possible\-\-worked thru lunch hour\-\-all 3 mechanics were polite cleaned up cellar and removed all old equipment

This was my first time using Family Danz for heating \& cooling needs and I am now a life\-long customer!

Family Danz installed a new energy efficient furnace and Central AC to replace two old units I had. The three tech's showed up on time and went straight to work. They were very open and forthcoming about all the work they were doing and kept me in the loop the whole time. There were no surprises. The price was right and I'm very happy with my upgraded equipment. Highly recommended.

20+ year customer

We had to have a furnace and central air replaced. Everyone that worked on our project were courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. We would recommend them to anyone.

I am very happy with the choice of this company.

We needed to replace our central AC. The salesperson was friendly and the technician staff were professional. Pleased in every way with the experience. Will recommend to neighbors and friends.

Fair, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. What more could you ask for?

Very friendly and knowledgeable installers and salesperson was very helpful with the service your company would provide

Very helpful with explaining what is included

Outstanding in every way. Team was prepared, competent, courteous and professional. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Had Family Danz Heating and Cooling rip out the old systems from 1986. Installed a new Bryant high efficiency furnace and A/C unit along with new thermostat, whole house humidifier, UV light and filter. Salesperson Cliff was great to deal with and explained all options very well. I had 4 companies come in and give us quotes on this project. By far Family Danz Heating and Cooling and specifically Cliff Koenitzer was the most professional and I highly recommend them. I was familiar with the process and equipment. All 3 other companies tried to upsell or suggest things not needed. Install crew of Mel, Kevin and Logan were all top notch and very professional. They worked great as a team and all knew exactly what they were doing. They even went beyond what was expected and wired in my generator switch. Was quite a large investment and I am extremely pleased with the choices made and working with Family Danz.

Mel, Kevin, Mark, and Tony did a great job installing our new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater. They worked together as a smoothly functioning and efficient team. They were careful to protect surfaces when they brought in and removed equipment, and made sure to clean up the debris left over from the installation. The installation was done professionally with proper attention to detail, and it looked like a professional job when completed. The team members happily answered all of our questions and did an excellent job of educating us on the use and care of our new equipment. Over the years we have had several such systems installed. This installation ranks as #1.

VERY SATISFIED WITH FAMILY DANZ HEATING AND PLUMBING

We had our 14 year old Furnace/AC replaced on 6 January, 2021. It was a very positive experience all around; from the initial sales presentation , through installation and follow by the office staff to iron out some paperwork glitches with the product registration and with an an application for a rebate from our local natural gas provider.

The install went great. The techs were very polite, clean, organized and on top of everything that needed to be done.

The salesman was fantastic and didn't try to oversell us with more than we needed and the install went smoothly. Our only complaint is the mess that was left behind. We had installed the day before Thanksgiving so perhaps that was a factor in the installers wanting to get done. We have already seen an appreciable decrease in has consumption, with thermostat at same temp.

We are very pleased with the system and the guys who did all the installation. All Excellent.

The installation crew was amazing! They had our old furnace and AC out and the new units installed in 4 hours on a very cold December day. They were courteous and informative. 10/10

Had furnace water heater and ac replaced, they showed up early, and were done in a reasonable time. Great guys, great job, fair pricing.

The technicians were professional, knowledgeable and were very neat.

Excellent install and equipment. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Always there to help

On time as promised

Thank You.

We had our furnace and central air replaced by this company. They were knowledgeable, professional, and did a great job

We have had several problems with them. Most took 2 to 3 months to resolve. One was never resolved.

Competent, efficient installation

The installers were very good. Arrived when they said they would be here and got to work right away. They explained to me what they were doing and what they had done. They were very efficient and got the job done in good time. It is now two weeks and the unit is not working. I called for service and have yet to hear back from them. Of course it is a hot humid day and the temperature in my house is going up instead of down. I have confidence when they do arrive they will be able to fix the problem.

Family Danz was terrific, but the distributor send over a previously installed a/c unit and tried to pass it off as a new unit. Thankfully the lead installer caught the problem and refused to do the installation til a new unit was brought from the warehouse. Does not speak well fit the distributor or warehouse.

The workers were courteous and thorough in explaining what they were doing and why. They cleaned up after the work.

Two years ago, we moved into a house that had an old AC unit, which stopped functioning at the end of last summer. This year, when it was already hot in May, we were worried it would take more than a few days to find someone who could do a good job replacing the old unit. Family Danz was able to make it all happen a week ahead of their proposed schedule. Ben tried everything in his 20 years of experience to get the old unit working. When he confirmed that the condenser was shot, Denise called us right away to schedule a visit from Mike, who advised us of the best unit for our needs and budget. Miles installed the unit with precision, care and cleanliness. Now we are cool and happy!

We have been a Family Danz customer for years, they continue to give great service. Cliff Koenitzer was very knowledgeable and was a big help as we selected a new furnace.

Great install. Excellent workmanship.

Everything was smooth from the minute I contacted their sales department, until the install a week or 2 after I met with Terry. The install crew showed up on time, and were cleaned up and out of the house within 4 hours. They removed a 30 year old central a/c unit, and thermostat and replaced them with a new Bryant unit. I hope we get some hot weather soon, so I can start using it!!

Could not be happier with Mel (our service tech)... especially in light of the C\-19 situation. Thorough, smart (gave great advice), cleaned up completely, kept safe distance and wore mask, etc.

You couldn't ask for a better company they do treat you like FAMILY THANK YOU EVERYBODY FROM FAMILY DANZ Bill Thibodeau

My Family and I cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about the Family Danz Team (Cliff Koenitzer(Sales), Mel Crane, Adam Stewart, Alex Stafford, Avery Rourke, and Miles Mohan(Install Techs) that completed the Heating and Cooling Installations at Our Home on Tuesday(1/21/2020). We are 100% Completely Satisfied with the work of the Install Technicians. They took the time and effort to explain Everything to Me. Their Professionalism, Work Ethic, and Willingness to Answer any and all questions was TRULY REFRESHING!!! My Family and I are Honored and Privileged to be Customers and Members of the Family Danz Community!!! I would and will 100% Recommend Family Danz to Anyone and Everyone that has any type of Heating or Cooling Need. FAMILY DANZ IS TRULY THE BEST!!!

Installation and service were excellent. Mel and Colin went above and beyond to complete the installation of my replacement furnace quickly and professionally. Only problem was in the sales brochure. Was expecting a wifi thermostat and ended up keeping the thermostat I already had. Read the brochure fully and carefully!

Went above and beyond my expectations during the installation process.

They came they saw they conquered , isn't that's what they are paid to do?

Have been using Family Danz for the past 22 years. Just replaced my furnace with a new Bryant

Did a very good job.

I was very happy with the service guys who did the estimate and the installers.

Jason and his crew were prompt, professional, and very respectful of our property.

Josh F. Was the principal installer. This was a challenging installation. neat, knowledgeable, worked well with helpers Joseph, Myles and reaches out to Dan C. When he needed to. A great team.

The guys are very good workers

A/C installers did a great Job. Salesman didn't provide a new thermostat and the one we had makes the air conditioning cycle on and of every 10\-15 minutes. I hear that is not how its supposed to work??? Expensive to run this way! No follow up call from salesman to see if we were experiencing any issues. Also salesman sold us a unit that didn't fit in the location he looked at. I shouldn't have to do the salesmans job.

The Family Danz team is always helpful. They are prompt and efficient with service and installation. The team is polite and knowledgeable.

I called several companies and the people at Family Danz were excellent. Mike Waterhouse set up a convenient time to meet. He had several options for me to choose from and my installation date was flexible. The technicians were there on time and my house was cleaned up when they were finished.

Did not properly ground the system, have to return to correct this that should have been completed on install.

Everything was excellent\- highly recommend.

My service team Adam and another gentlemen\-I didn't get his name\-were excellent. Adam took the time, after the installation was complete, to show me the various parts of the furnace that I need to be familiar with.
