I have been with Soltman's for 7 years and have always had a wonderful experience with them! All of their staff who I have worked with are professional, honest, very knowledgeable, always explain to me what needs to be done (and why) and answers my questions, and most importantly they always complete the jobs as stated and in perfect condition. I recently had an HVAC installed Monday and the team who installed were very professional and polite and worked quietly through the entire day. They explained everything I needed to know about the system, how to order filters, answered all of my questions, and even cleaned up my house and driveway afterwards as well! The price I was quoted was what I was given and covered everything. The clerical staff at Soltman's is wonderful as well: quick and knowledgeable responses, easy to schedule my appointment with and followed up with all paperwork (rebate forms/other documents) and emails promptly. All of the rebate forms from Consumers and DTE were also submitted by them and taken care of the very next day! It is also very important to me that any company I hire has good ratings on Angie's List, NextDoor, and personal reviews from my neighbors. I also make sure the companies I hire have their proper certifications and up\-to\-data LARA licenses, so I am very happy with Soltman and their paperwork! Lastly, I would like to note that I have called their 24\-7 emergency lines as well and spoke with staff in those situations who came very quickly to help in emergency situations. I am very happy with the prices and services I pay for at Soltman's Heating and Cooling! I will continue to recommend them and use them for years to come!

New furnace install, everyone we worked with was great!

I've been a customer of Soltman for just around 15 years. I recently had my furnace serviced because the motor was making a loud noise. Brian came out and found the motor housing had cracked and could not be repaired. Brian recommended replacing the furnace. I've been dealing with Brian for 12 years and I trust him, he is an expert in his biz and has always taken care of us. I replaced the furnace the next day. Jason (who I have also been dealing with for 12 years) showed up promptly first thing in the morning and took care of installing the new furnace. Jason did a beautiful job, both removing and installing the furnace and took care to clean up after all was done. I have always had a good experience dealing with Soltman, they are professional, experience , and reliable.

Completely transparent and wish all services and contractors could match their level of excellence. Coming off a large rehab that I was GC on my own project, this was one of very few companies or trades I had to look over their shoulder or project manage. Seriously top notch, cool guys, pro admin in the office and stellar efficiency.

This is the second system John and team have installed for us. The last one was in 1993. When we bought that one we got eight (yes, 8) estimates and chose Soltman. They have serviced our system since the 1993 installation. So when we decided to invest in a new system we called Soltman, looked at their proposal and went with it.....no multiple bids like the last time. This is the kind of faith we have in the Soltman team.

We had a friend of the family recommend Soltman when it was time to replace our old furnace in 2016 and were pleased with the workmanship of the installers as well as their knowledge of the systems. Thirty\-three months later, when we decided to replace our old central A/C, I was pleased to see the exact same Soltman crew (John, Jason, and Scott). Could not have been more satisfied.

I had John out to give me an estimate on a new water heater and a/c unit. I was very impressed with how thorough and knowledgeable he and his team were about walking me through the process, and how quickly he got back to me with a quote. Soltman has been our HVAC goto for over 20 years. This time the compressor on the A/C unit was dying so instead of replacing it we opted to upgrade the whole system. They came out when the said they would, installed the new Bryant quickly and left no mess.

I have done business with Soltman for many years. They do great work and you can trust them to do the job above average.

From John's first visit I was impressed with his knowledge, understanding of my problem and formulating a solution. His assurance that they could do everything I wanted/needed in a timely manner and his calm demeanor (I was pretty stressed out!) were also appreciated. He promptly e\-mailed a quote and then a second one after his follow\-up call to see if I had any questions. I needed a new furnace with all of my heating ducts re\-routed through my attic (including new ducts to a room that previously had no heat). I also needed my old in\-slab ducts sealed off. Scott and Jason (who had over 40 years experience between the two of them) were prompt and ready to work when they arrived (and they were very nice, too!). The new furnace was installed and running by the second day. The entire job was completed in 2 1/2 days. And they were very conscientious about cleaning up each day. I couldn't believe that the problems I had been dealing with were totally solved within a week of my initial contact. I had never used Soltman before but am glad that I took this recommendation and contacted them.

Doorman came out promptly, explained my options and a new Bryant furnace was installed the next day. We couldn?t be more pleased.

YOU MUST HIRE THIS COMPANY ! After floundering and failing for 20 years trying to find a COMPETENT, CREDIBLE HVAC company in Metro\-Detroit, I finally discovered John and the crew at Soltman. John and Brian worked all day Christmas Eve to prepare for my installation on the morning of 12/26! Five star service and workmanship from the entire install crew. Finding Soltman was absolutely my best Christmas present this year ! Bryant, there guys are TERRIFIC !

When my old furnace started to experience random outages it was time to replace it. A close friend recommend Slotmen heating and cooling because of there long history of good service at fair prices. From the first visit to the final installation Slotmen provided expert advice on product selection and on the actual installation. When finished, I was not only pleased with the speed and quality of workmanship, but amazed at how well the finished installation performed.

Smooth as can be. When furnace first went out on New Year's Eve, they came that day with temporary fix until furnace could be replaced. I did decide to compare estimates as a matter of routine and this was the best estimate I received. Final price was actually lower than quoted because they did not require one of the parts they anticipated.

This is our second furnace purchased from Soltman. We're very impressed with John's knowledge and professionalism. We love dealing a small business rather than a large impersonal company. John comes out at the start of a job to get the installation crew organized and tell them exactly what and how he wants things done. The installation team of Scott and Jason did an excellent job. They were proficient at their task as well as tidy. They also provided me with information regarding the operation of my new furnace and water heater. I would highly recommend them as well as the Soltman company.
