Took care of our concerns

The service is okay. It took 10 days for this company to instal my furnace, and then they had to come back 3 days later to do more metal work. My neighbor across the street got two furnaces installed 6 days earlier. The last time we had a flood in 2016, this company put a new mother board in and we were fine until this flood on June 25, 2021. They said they could not do that this time, so we had no AC for ten days, and it was quite hot and muggy for 7 out of the 10 days. I even suggested could we get a mother board to have AC until the new furnace could be installed. That was a no as well. I think they really wanted to sell us a new furnace, because the blower motor on the furnace came on the very next day even after we had at least 2 feet of water for 12 hours in the entire basement. I put a new filter in the furnace, and gerry rigged the button on the lower panel to stay on, and the AC worked for about four days until the technician came out and said we needed a new furnace. The AC unit needed a new capacitor, which was installed on July 15, 2021. Two minutes later the unit shut down and that was it. I had to call the next day (July 16th), twice, only to find out that there was a time slot set for me the for that day from 12\-4pm, but now one ever called to tell me that. They could not come out on July 16, because we had another flood in the basement (only 2\-3 inches of water this time. Thank goodness the installers put my new furnace on 2 inch feet, otherwise some of the furnace would have been sitting in water again). Not too sure if the right and left hand know what the other is doing. It seems to take two days to do things with this company, and trying to call them first thing in the morning: the best you can do is leave a message. Then call back, because that will probably be quicker than waiting on them to call you. I am stuck with this company for another ten years (based on my warranty), and looking back now, I wish I would have asked my 2 furnace neighbor who he went with and got on that band wagon.

The Home Service Corp. responded quickly to our concerns regarding our heating system. Tommy was thorough in his diagnostic process. Robert, Johann and Harold performed the installation of the new furnace and additional components in a timely manner. All were very pleasant to communicate with showing respect and responding clearly to our many questions. We are very pleased with the entire service.

Everyone was wonderful from this company. Our installation was complex because our old system was almost 30 years old and the new system didn?t match up well, but they took their time and did a very good job.

Doug was awesome with everything when he was doing the i stall. We had scheduled this like two weeks in Advance and even though the guys were awesome we had to wait a whole week later after they started due to them scheduling another job in between. We were not happy with that part.

I loved the professionalism and caring for my satisfaction

We initially had them come out multiple times to service our old furnace through DTE's home protection plan. Poor guys had to come out almost 7 times because there was always a new problem (furnace was old, none of the installation was done correctly, apparently it was even upside down!). They never made me feel cruddy about making them come out so many times for a new problem. And then when we were fed up and purchased a new furnace, they were quick, kind, cleaned up as much as they could because of the dust (which wasn't necessary!), got us in as quickly as they could as the furnace was completely not working and it was COLD and they even fixed some of the problems we had from before for free as they saw them. Our house was totally jerry\-rigged before we bought it and the guys fixed the piping for the water heater, reconnected some wires in our crawlspace that came undone and even rewired our washer/dryer correctly this time (they simply had to move it out of the way while they installed the furnace). Thank you so SO much! We absolutely would recommend you to our friends :)
