I've worked with Rod Miller for over a decade and they came through yet again. They installed the bryant compressing unit and the air handler on a Thursday. The work was good and clean up thorough. I noticed a slow leak from the air handler the next morning, phoned Rod Miller and they had someone to my home that day. That technician identified the source of the slow leak, did not have the part but created a way to catch the water, and came back first thing Monday morning to repair it. \[Turns out there was either a small crack in the part or the glue used to install that part wasn't complete but either way Rod Miller was responsive to the problem.\]

Rod Miller's estimator came out on the same day I called. He had one of his experts visit the next day to confirm the technical problem, after which he provided a written proposal in the form of a set of options (good, better, best), with pricing that included a credit for the diagnostic visit. Installation was scheduled for about a week after we accepted the "better" proposal . Mr. Miller himself called and spoke with my wife about the timing, and when he learned that we had no a/c he called another customer who was getting a replacement for a working system the next day and asked them to switch dates with us! His thoughtfulness saved us from several more hot days and nights. All personnel from the estimator to the installers were professional and respectful of Covid procedures. So far the new system is working very well.

I requested a quote for an HVAC replacement from 3 companies operating in my area of Maryland. JDL, Transform Home Improvements, and Rod Miller. All three came out quickly to do an estimate. I never heard from JDL again (even though I called them 5 days later to see when my estimate was coming), the remaining two companies gave me timely estimates.
