Fast service and great work

The installation was fine. However the unit is not performing well and cannot achieve a nominally cool temperature during peak heat afternoon temperatures. Company has been advised that unit appears undersized and was confirmed by the QA tech as not achieving needed temperature differential. I have asked three times for options to mitigate and am getting no response from the company.

Thanks Family for taking care of my Family and ensuring our needs were met and we finally no longer have to hope and pray our ac unit makes it another day. This new Bryant we have is awesome, user friendly, and already doing its job within 2 hours of being installed.

Tim Nations did our install, he was great to deal with, helped us with the financing paperwork, ideas on the install, and supervised the process throughout. Of course he lives right down the street, but is always stopping by to see how the system is working. Let me tell you how its working, this thing is fantastic, our windows are no longer sweating and covered with condensation! The house is comfortable and everything works as Tim explained. Best of all, it is quiet!!! You can sit outside with this air exchanger running, and still have a conversation. I recommend Tim wholeheartedly,, and if you need a new AC, jump on this, because he was correct,,, "Change your AC when you WANT TO, not when you have to!!"

Tim Norton came out and looked at what we had, surprised me he did not recommend more than we needed. He explained my choices very well, gave me prices for each level of system. Tim made sure I understood why or why not for each price point. Once we decided, he went back to the office to schedule our install. No idea how, but perfect timing worked out and we had an install scheduled within 24 hours. The install team came, did a great job. I am beyond happy with the entire process. If you need an HVAC system, Family Heating and Air would be my recommendation.

My HVAC install was a 2 day project, the guys who came were professional and explained everything they were doing. They didn't mind the questions or my interest in how things would work or updates as to how the project went. All said and done system works great!

Replaced my 9 SEER 19 year old unit to 15 SEER. Installation was excellent except for outside unit . 2 items were not done right however this was corrected in a timely manner. I have rental units and I always used Family \& Air. Service is exceptional.

It is rewarding to watch experts do their jobs competently and efficiently. These guys knew what they were doing, got the job done as quickly as possible, got the new unit working and patiently explained use of the digital controls to my wife and I. On top of their expertise, they were friendly too! The Bryant is the quietest I have ever heard; you can stand right beside it while it is running and carry on a normal conversation without raising your voice. We especially like the humidity control feature....great in southern Alabama. My wife and I highly recommend this company and the products they sell.

This is the second unit Family Heating and Air has installed and serviced for us. Both times, the reps were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. As caregivers for our 90YO mother who is on oxygen and can't tolerate heat and humidity, we were anxious about the amount of time we thought it would take. Their rep Justin Bush made some calls, and our new unit was installed the next morning. Talk about exceeding expectations! We can't say enough about Justin and the other professionals at Family Heating and Air \- they are a step above the rest. If you want the best, call the best \- Family Heating and Air!

My experience was first rate from the first consultation and proposal to the final testing of the installed equipment. The unit has only been in for a week but so far experience with keeping the home warm, while remaining very quiet, has been excellent. I think the smart thermostat could us a little work but it does what it is supposed to do.

Because of the excellent service we received from previous repair calls, we decided to purchase our inside air handler from Family Heating and Air, and so far have been very satisfied with the product and installation service.

The personnel were knowledgeable and professional. The technician and trainee/apprentice installed the system as quickly as possible with minimum distruption. We are very satisfied with the work preformed, and much happier with the system installed.

We had a part that had to be replaced in order to know if there were any other problems. Based on the cost of that part, we made the decision to replace our 13 year old unit. Love the choice, but didn't enjoy writing the check!! I can adjust my thermostat from my phone!

Unit needed new parts after installing, After several days , WE had to call them and ask when are they going to fix it. Men drove in our yard and made a mess , cute woodwork around furnace and made it to short. They didn't report this to the company. My husband had to call them to get this job finished. Justin Bush said he would return an do a Happy check , Guess he knows the HAPPY CHECK answer to that,haven't heard from him since first day. They don't seem to work together to solve the problems or communicate with customers or themselves either.

After my old system was going to be too expensive to fix, we opted to get a new system. Justin went over out options and we decided to go with American Family and Heating. Austin and Brian came out on the day and time that they said they would and worked all day to get out system in. When and issue came up, Justin bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. We were so impressed that we elected to have a mini split installed at our kids house. Again, they were there on the day and time they said they would and this time Austin and Chris worked just as hard and got the system in. After breaking drill bit after drill bit on the super block our house was built with, they showed up the next day to get the last two screws in. We didn't even notice that they were not there. Ciara in the office was always pleasant when I called in with a payment or question. I would recommend this company to everyone

My point of contact, Tim, was very helpful, prompt and clear with his communication, and true to his word, our system was installed the following day. Information was provided in a timely manner with no pressure for making a purchase commitment. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

We love the new Bryant AC system installed by the Guys at Family Heating \& Air Conditioning! The Techs tried to repair our 20 plus year old system but it had chilled its last room! They set us up with a new installation of a Bryant system bringing us into the 21st century technology. The Homewise Thermostat is awesome and the new system is going to save us money on our energy cost. Thanks to Justin and the guys for giving us relief from 91 degree temperatures in our home without AC! Prompt ,courteous, professional service that is hard to find these days. I would highly recommend this company for all your HVAC NEEDS!

Family Heating \& Air installed an brand new system for me in one day. I was extremely pleased with their dedication and service and the great deal they gave me on my new Bryant system.

I began looking for a new system to replace the tiny unit my house came with. Family heating and air came out same day and gave a quote, and installed the equipment the next day. Weeks sooner than I could have anyone else do it. Their price was in the middle of my quotes. I ended up going with them due to the reviews of Bryant and carrier being much better than Goodman reviews and other brands. The air works awesome so far and my kids and girlfriend aren't complaining anymore. Win win.

System was installed less than 36 hours ago. It is still functioning as expected. Family Heating \& A/C from Pensacola did the installation. They did a good job but it took a very long time. They started around 9:30am but didn't finish until 11:00pm. The person who initially spoke with us and wrote up the order was aware of how the old system was set up (heating unit in a small closet in the garage \& outside unit behind trees \& shrubs) but apparently failed to inform the installation crew. They claimed this caused them to take longer than expected to complete the installation.

Rob and his techs were very friendly and professional. They did and outstanding job of installing new AC system and duct work in ceiling, no one else would get in low ceiling but Rob did.
