McGowan's has been the HVAC company I have used since I moved into my house four years ago. They have 100% been the best company HVAC company I've ever had!

Installers went over and above to do the job! Made adjustments so air handler would fit just I had hoped. Also the work was done efficiently and cleaned up to perfection. Very unusual to get such high quality work in this day and age!

Very pleased with the whole process

I was having problems with my AC unit which was almost 20 years old. I knew the day would come soon when it was time to replace my unit. That time came on a Saturday. My last trustworthy and knowledgeable AC guy moved to Tennessee so I didn't know who to call. After weighing through coupons, ads, and the internet, I decided to call McGowen's Heating and AC. I know they have been in business a long time and they are highly rated on the internet. I called their office on a Saturday morning and had a service call set up for that afternoon. Matt came that afternoon and inspected and tested my unit and came to the conclusion that there was an obstruction in the system and because my unit used R22 freon, the repair could be very costly. Early Monday morning, Jackie came to give me a quote for a new unit and do an assessment of what I needed. He asked me questions about what I wanted, gave me suggestions and his recommendations for what I would and wouldn't need. He also let me know they could have installers come the next day. He laid everything out, he didn't pressure me, and he didn't feed me any unnecessary sales pitches. I let him know I wanted another quote or two and have time to process all the information, discuss with my wife and let him know what our decision was ASAP. He emailed my quote and left. About an hour later, I thought of another question for him, emailed him and he answered back within a few minutes. Because of the time crunch I was in, my wife and I decided that from the first call that I made, Matt's service call on a Saturday with no hidden cost, and Jackie's estimate and response time, that we would forgo other estimates and choose McGowen's. The office let me know my installers would call first and arrive between 8 and 11 am Tuesday. Before 8 am, Enea called and asked if we were ready for them and arrived close to 8 am. Enea and Robert got started after talking to me and assessing the job before them. They worked from the time they got here until they left around 2:00 that afternoon. They are also the type of people who take pride in their work and it shows. So with all of that, I have to say this, from my first phone call until the job was done, everyone was professional, courteous, prompt and made a stressful situation better. So for anyone out there who doesn't know who to call or who to trust, I can say without hesitation that everyone that I dealt with at McGowen's exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

Jackie Spiewak came at the appointed time, and followed up promptly with an estimate, working with us to get the best deal. The installers called to let us know they were on their way at the scheduled time. They were polite and professional, completing the job on time.
