Combined ducted and ductless heat pump installation
I was so impressed by the work that was done. The ducting is amazing. It has transformed my space. The exterior installation of the heat pump lines is sleek and they did fill in the holes on the exterior walls in consideration of rodents. Staff showed up on time, and my house was clean when they wrapped up. I had received excellent service from Norm's in the past, and consequently I waited an extra month to connect re a quote. I'm glad I did; all aspects of the service and installation went great. Coordination of the work between Norm's, Wall's, Bowater, VI Power and BC Hydro was seamless. It was quite an undertaking for me; a big price tag (even with rebates) and also, as a single woman, I was worried about being dismissed or disregarded. This didn't happen at all. At every step of the way, staff worked with me to help me understand the process, answer my questions, tolerate my (at times) indecision and help me make decisions that were most appropriate for my situation. A big kudos to everyone. Thank you for making this such a positive experience. I will highly recommend your services in the future.

Supply and install heat pump
Norm's staff, from the front office to the installation crew are all friendly and knowledgeable, and we have relied on them for years for our plumbing and heating needs. When it was time to replace the old gas furnace, we contacted three local suppliers, including Norms, to provide advice and estimates. Not only was Norm's far and away the most sensible and easy to understand estimate, it was all to most timely. In the end the other estimates were irrelevant, not based on price but on service. The first contractor provided some verbal advice and then disappeared. In the case of the third and final estimate, Norms had already provided and installed the equipment before they could even schedule an initial appointment. In the end, we have no regrets about choosing Norms once again, and have already recommended their services to friends.

I have had the pleasure of hiring Norms Plumbing and Heating for a number of years for my heating and furnace needs. Norms has consistently provided me with excellent service and consistently demonstrated their professionalism, excellent customer service, product knowledge, trouble shooting, product knowledge, furnace installation and repairs. They recently replaced my heat pump and installed a Bryant gas furnace where I have saved on average 5 to 8 dollars daily in electrical charges. My home is more comfortable and warm since the installation of the Bryant furnace and it is a very quiet heating system compared to my heat pump. I am very happy that Norms suggested that I install a Bryant furnace.
