component mysteries

crew arrived to install the day after our basement flooded. they worked around the mess. after the replacement of the furnace and thermostat everything seemed to work but the next morning there was a LPS error warning and the furnace would not start. this problem occurred over the next 3 days. A low pressure switch then the motherboard and then the thermostat was replaced. finally a third technician came and noted the transformer was hot and buzzing. He replaced it and then wired the ionizer directly to the 120 volt furnace supply rather than the motherboard and so far the system works. Rapid Cool was very quick to come and do everything to address the problem. their staff is polite and pleasant to work with each time

The installers did a great job and took the time to answer all the questions we had. If we could wish for one thing it would be that they took more care cleaning up after themselves. They use drop clothes which is okay, but we had a bunch of vacuuming to do and a bathroom where we had to clean up muddy footprints. That was really the only complaint we had, otherwise we thought the guys did great.

Poor Service - Thugs - Stay Away

Your service manager is a complete thug. A thermostat that retails for $189.00 your service manager Simon charged me $266.00 for it and when i called to talk to him about it, he gave me bullshit reason of installing cost/ and showing you how to operate it. You are already charging me for the number of hours technicians are on the job site for so how is that a 5 minute thermostat install charge is extra $79.00 for 5 minute that is some expensive labor ?? I call that deceit and lies, basically stealing money from me. Next, I asked for an itemized bill of the service and I was told we don't do that? what do you mean we don't you are legally obligated in BC to provide an itemized invoice for the service performed and it is my right to ask for it. How do I know what are you charging me for? A furnace alone obviously alone doesn't cost $6000.00 so you must be charging me for other things as well. I've never had such bad service experience in my life and even when confronting the manager I was basically told to go pound sand. I hope this is not a reflection of the Bryant brand itself and is only limited to this dealer. Will never recommend them to anyone and if you read this please take your money else where. I'm sure there are better hvac contractors in kamloops area.

Our only issue is that one hookup line from a wall unit wasn't long enough to allow the outside lines to be placed under the eaves, hence they are more visible on the outside of the house. The crew was very diligent doing the installation and were able to complete in one day. They were very professional. When we had an issue with the louvers not completely closing on the wall units, a representative was dispatched the next day and fixed the problem for us. New Bryant Furnace

We had an older Carrier high efficiency furnace that was getting near it's end of life cycle. When discussing with the service technician it was recommended that for a few more dollars we could get a new Bryant installed. Simon did a great job in scoping out an appropriate replacement furnace and then going over the Company expertise and what we could expect on install day. Kelly was the main installer and he and his partner did a great job. Product installation

We had a very complex situation to have a new furnace and a new air conditioning. The technicians were excellent at finding a solution. They were very professional. It has been a long process but they would not leave the house until the furnace was up and running. They kept the area very clean and took away the old equipment to be recycled. They did all the paperwork for registration of the products and for the Rebates from Bryant and Fortis as well. Excellent presentation and walked us through the systems. New Ac unit failed after one day, 8 month pregnant wife still waiting for repair one week after installation with hot weather

Job botched, and having to wait a week (possibly longer) for repair is ridiculous. Unit failed after first day because of installation error. Wife 8 months pregnant and super hot temperatures should have some bearing on a speedy repair; but hasn't. Bryant dealers TM: "Whatever it takes," should be changed to "We've had a long week and will get to you when we can."

From the first contact with Simon Montague to the truck leaving, your people were professional. My previous heat pump had expired and I needed it replaced. Simon told me about several options and ad ons, that will make my home more comfortable. The two technicians who did the actual install were polite and friendly and, frankly, worked their butts off. They had to dig up the former cables and replace them. Change the coolant and hook everything back up. They were here all day. Great introduction to your company.

while it's much too soon to comment on how reliable our Bryant AC system will be, it looks solid, runs quietly and we have nothing but good to say about the sales and installation service.
