Accurate Heating and Cooling honored Bev Yoakum, Head of Schools for Wesley-Taylor Preparatory School and a lifelong teacher, with the Bryant® True Hero Award. The award is part of a national program to honor people who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in their communities. True Heroes are those who selflessly devote their lives to serving others.

Yoakum was nominated for the Bryant True Hero Award for her hard work and dedication to educating thousands of children in the community. For more than 30 years, Yoakum has created, grown and managed child care facilities and schools in the community to provide quality child care and a learning environment to thrive and grow.

Yoakum was honored with the True Hero Award during a ceremony at Wesley-Taylor Preparatory School. In honor of Yoakum, Accurate Heating and Cooling has pledged to donate $3,500 to the school for needed resources.

“The Bryant True Hero Award is a way to thank people who go out of their way to help others and positively impact their communities,” said Lisa Townley, brand manager for Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems. “Not often recognized for their efforts, Bryant True Heroes are real people who are making a difference in their communities every day.”
