Enhanced Secondary Heat Exchanger Warranty for High Efficiency Furnaces
When you choose dependable Bryant products for your home heating and cooling needs, you don’t just get the best products available—you also get solid warranty coverage to protect your family’s investment.
The terms and coverage details of your warranty are specific to the Bryant product models you own. Typically, Bryant products come with a standard 5-year parts limited warranty. Depending on your model, certain components within the product may have longer standard warranties.
All of Bryant's high efficiency (90% AFUE or greater) gas furnaces built since 1989 now carry an enhanced 20-year parts and labor warranty on the secondary heat exchanger. These models include 398AAW*, 398AAZ, 399AAW*, 399AAZ, 399AAV, 345MAV, 352AAV, 350MAV, 340AAV, 350AAV, 351DAS, 355BAV, 398BAZ, 320AAZ, 321AAZ, 355MAV, 355AAV, 352MAV, 490AAV, 355CAV, 340MAV, and 398BAW*. *On model numbers 398AAW, 399AAW, and 398BAW only those with serial numbers 89 or higher in the third and fourth position (i.e. xx89xxxxxx) are included.
Effective immediately, the enhanced warranty covers all parts and up to four hours of labor based on the local rate for an authorized technician to repair/replace a secondary heat exchanger for original purchasers for twenty years from the date of installation. Customers may opt to forgo repair/replacement and receive a credit toward the purchase of certain heating or cooling products which have a minimum retail price of $1250. The amount of the credit will be not less than the cost of four hours of labor plus the value of the secondary heat exchanger and associated parts.
