INDIANAPOLIS – (February 9, 2006) – Demonstrating its "Whatever it Takes" commitment to the community, Bryant Heating & Cooling System’s Evolution Remote Access gives homeowners reliable, complete control of their home comfort system via the Internet and/or telephone. Not only can users change home comfort settings, but they also will be notified via e-mail reminders or voice-prompted telephone messages about routine and urgent maintenance issues related to their heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. So if homeowners forgot to lower the thermostat before vacation, for example, they can count on Bryant to provide the latest and most reliable products in the HVAC industry.

Each system has a unique identity and is password protected, and users can also grant dealers access to their system so they, too, receive routine and urgent maintenance messages. Dealers also have access to the last 10 system faults, which help them provide unparalleled service.

Energy efficient and cost effective, the Evolution Remote Access includes a System Access Module that is installed in conjunction with the Evolution furnace/fan coil and the Evolution Control.

About the Evolution System

The Evolution System includes the Evolution Control, one of Bryant’s best-in-class variable-speed furnaces or fan coils, and either a Bryant heat pump or air conditioner featuring a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 16.5 that uses non-ozone-depleting Puron® refrigerant.
